Terms of use

Effective July 2, 2026

What this site is

FlightRecord publishes historical flight-reliability statistics computed from the US DOT Bureau of Transportation Statistics dataset, per the published methodology. By using the site you accept these terms.

No predictions, no guarantees

Every statistic describes pastflights. Nothing on this site is a prediction, a guarantee, or advice about any specific future flight, and no booking, insurance, or compensation decision should rely on it as such. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind; to the maximum extent permitted by law, FlightRecord is not liable for decisions made based on it.

Using the statistics

  • The underlying flight data is a work of the US government in the public domain. Our aggregated statistics may be quoted or reproduced with attribution — a link to the page you took them from is appreciated.
  • The site’s text, presentation, and code are © FlightRecord.
  • Automated access is fine at a respectful rate (crawlers should honor robots.txt); bulk scraping that degrades the service for others is not.

Independence

FlightRecord is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the US Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, or any airline. Airline names appear solely to identify the carriers the government data describes.
