Reporting a data problem

Data-integrity reports are the highest-priority issue class. If a number looks wrong, please include the page URL, the statistic in question, and — if you have it — what you expected instead. Every figure on the site is computed from the US DOT Bureau of Transportation Statistics dataset using the documented methodology, so most discrepancies trace back to a definitional difference (for example, the DOT’s 15-minute on-time rule) rather than a bug — but every report gets checked.

What this site can’t help with

FlightRecord publishes historical statistics only. We cannot check the status of a specific upcoming flight, handle refunds or compensation claims, or speak for any airline or the US DOT — for those, contact the airline directly.
